Senior Trip

Sun Jul 12, 2009, 4:30 PM
It feels so good to finally graduate from high school. Here on a couple weeks me and my friend are going to Glacier National Park, Montana for our own Senior Trip. We live in Alabama and we will drive to the beautiful American West through the Great Plains across South Dakota to the Great Rockies in Montana.

On the way we hope to stop at the Badlands to take some sunrise photos. We will drive through three Indian reservations and off the beaten path on gravel roads. The adventure starts.

When we finally reach Glacier N.P. we will hike, drive the Going to the Sun Highway that stretches the whole lenght of the park and off into Canada. We will most likely kyak down the streams and on the Lake McDonald in which we will do alot of swimming in, because our campsite is on the lake.

Anyway, the point of the journal is to let you all know to expect many photos of Montana, Colorado and South Dakota here with in the next month. Unfortunately I will be unable to post them while on the trip because I will not have enternet access. So I guess you will have to wait.

I will also have my photos posted on my flickr page here: [link]
just go to the set on the left that says Senior Trip.

Enjoy

For some photography is just a hobby, for others it's a profession. But for me it's more than a hobby or a profession. It's more than a beautiful work of art. It's love, care, passion, imagination and the world I see.

Photography has been my passion driven hobby for about three years now. I became interested in photography while visitng my brother in Guam. The rich tropical landscape and the grandeur sunsets over the Pacific fired my passion of the natural world. The world I saw. This inspired me to show the world, you, what I saw, what I experienced and the beauty we reside in.

I started my photographic journies three years ago at age 17. I was just a typical beginner shooting away at anything and everything I found interesting. Though I took it a little more serious analyzing my subject before I took the shot. Lacking the confidence and skills needed to achieve success. I only wanted to do this as a hobby but God had other things in mind.
